Toyota Repair: 92 camry timing, crankshaft pulley, timing pulley

Question
Where do I find the markings on the crankshaft to put it into time? The timing belt broke and I see the dot on the pulley for the crankshaft. I need to know whether to line it up straight up or straight down.  I don't see any markings on the oil pump or the block to match it up to.

Temporarely install the bottom timing cover, install the crankshaft pulley and line up the notch on the pulley with the zero mark on the cover then being careful not to move the pulley pull it back off and remove the cover and make a paint mark on the crankshaft timing pulley and the block, the engine is now at top dead center.
