Question94 Toyota Pickup, SR5, 234K miles, 4WD, Manual 5spd. When driving down highway (65-75 mph) for around 2 hrs. gear shift stick and 4wd stick get VERY hot to the touch. Almost, too hot to touch with a bare hand. What are some possible causes? Thanks.

Sounds like one or both are low on lubricant, have them checked out.
If not, something is not lined up, or mounting bolts loose causing tension and stress.
