Toyota Repair: Jump starting 1997 Toyota Camry, jumper cables, blown fuses

Question
I connected jumper cables from another car but reversed connected the black connector clamp to red terminal and red clamp to black terminal. Realized mistake and reversed clamp connections and engine turned over but "died" upon disconnecting red jumper cable, front panel lights are out, and cannot shift automatic gear shifter out of park. I conclude that my reverse connection of cable clamps damaged the electrical system. What needs to be done to repair?

Answer
There are some blown fuses, the main reason is that the 120amp alternator fuse is blown, look under the hood in the fuse panel near the battery, open it and locate the large alternator fuse, the only problem is that it is bolted into the fuse box which will have to be removed and the bottom cover taken off to get to the bolts that connect it, in some cases the break in the fuse can be bridged with a small drop of solder to at least get the car going so it can be driven to a repair shop or the dealer, check the other fuses as well, the EFI, ECU B+, IGN also have a tendency to go when this happens.
