Toyota Repair: belt noise (chirping), squirt bottle, auto parts store

Question
I recently had my 01 Tundra (4.7L v-8) alternator and belt replaced.  Now I have a chirping noise. What can I do about it?

Answer
Check to make sure that you don't have a bad pulley. Then, to make sure it is the belt, start the truck, then spray the belt with a squirt bottle full of water while running. If the sound stops, it's the belt. At this point, you can spray some belt dressing on the belt. Belt dressing can be found at any auto parts store.
