Toyota Repair: 1996 Toyota Tacoma Transmission, shift forks, transmission gear

Question
Noticed the transmission felt different going into gears. Within two days it wasn't engaging correctly and sometime popped out of gear.  Shortly after this, it would not go into third or fourth gear.  I have a 195,000 miles on the truck w/ the original clutch.  Also note, I had the transmission gear oil level checked and it was full.

Answer
There are two possible solutions, first, the shifter bushings should be checked in the shift tower where the shifter goes in, if the bushings are worn then replacing them solves the problem in most cases,if that's not the case then the transmission has a problem with the shift forks or synchros and/or shift hubs or sleeves which may be worn.
