Toyota Repair: Alignment, 2006 lexus gs430, lexus gs430

Question
Hi Ted, I have a 2006 Lexus GS430. The camber is reading -1.4. (-1.2 to 0.3)
The cross camber is reading 1.1 (-0.5 to 0.5)   The right lower control arm
has been replaced. (Looks new) My tech said he thinks the steering knuckle
needs to be replaced to make it "right". Are these readings that bad?   The car
drives straight , doesn't pull, etc. Should I leave it alone or is this serious?
Thanks, Brian

Answer
I wouldn't worry about this too much and I really doubt that a steering knuckle needs to be replaced, this is a very small deviation from the factory specs, first of all camber does not cause tire wear if the readings are this negligeble, neither will it cause a pulling condition, there are special adjusting bolts available from the toyota parts department that can be installed so the camber can be adjusted but to me it's not worth the time and expense for this small amount of deviation.
