Toyota Repair: 1993 toyota 4 runner 3.0, spark plug wires, head gasket

Had the head gasket replaced not new head was ground and did a valve job at the same time the car is running very rough for firt 1-2 miles then missing less put new plugs,dist cap, rotor and some new vacum hoses. had slight miss prior now it is a disaster . pleas help

I would recommend having the engine compression tested anyway, by the way, were the spark plug wires replaced as well? If not,I would do that first and if there is no improvement check the compression just to be sure, if it's good then you can look for other things that may cause this.
