Toyota Repair: 1996 toyota 4 runner wont start, toyota 4 runner, battery terminals

Question
I hv a 96 4runner. Prob started a week ago I cut the truck off and it wouldn't start. Got a jump it started right up cut it off it wouldn't start again. Went to autozone they either say its the alternator or the alpine alarm and amp. I changed the battery now nothing at all it won't crank the headlights come on. Please help

Answer
If you got a jump start and it started right up, then there's a bad connection with your terminals that's not allowing your battery to charge and not allowing your starter to receive the juice it needs to crank the engine. Clean or replace the battery terminals if necessary. If you alarm system has a valet switch, turn it on and leave the valet switch on until you can have the alarm checked.
