Toyota Repair: camry wont start, automatic door locks, neutral safety switch

my 02 camry won't start.  there is no sound when you turn the key. the lights, horn and automatic door locks work.  aaa tried to jump start the car, but it won't start. during the last few months i would sometimes have to hold the key a little longer before the car would start.

Possibly a problem with the park neutral safety switch located on the transmission unless it has an aftermarket alarm system that is causing problems, if it does have the aftermarket alarm systerm removed and the system restored to it's original factory configuration.
