Toyota Repair: 2000 Celica Security System, theft deterrent system, toyota dealer

RE:  2000 Celica - 49k miles.  The security system alarm goes off at random when the car is simply parked, unattended.  Any ideas?

The sensitivity may have to be adjusted,Toyota did not offer a factory installed theft deterrent system for this model/year, it's an aftermarket system that was installed at either the dealer or at the port of entry, I recommend that you see the toyota dealer to see if they can adjust the sensitivity of the system.
