TED..HAVE A P0446 CHECK ENGINE CODE FOR MY EVAP SYSTEM MALF.  CHANGED FUEL CAP, STILL HAPPENING. HOSES ALL TIGHT. WHAT VALVE CAN I REPLACE TO POSSIBLY FIX MY PROBLEM? THANKS

This code comes up when there is a large leak in the evap system, I can't just suggest to start replacing parts, the system is one of the hardest things to diagnose because of the many possible causes. There is either a leak in the system or a switching is malfunctioning. The best way to go about this is to have an evap system leak test done at the toyota dealer, this can be done using the techstream scantool, this will confirm if there is a leak or not and if the system is operating correctly,if there is no leak then there is a malfunction with one of the switching valves, the technician can activate these valves one by one using the scan tool in the active test mode.
