Toyota Repair: 97 4runner, antenna mast, inner fender

i recently purchased a 97 4runner and it has a little garbage after market antenna on it. i have gone to my local dealer and bought the proper motorized antenna. could you please tell me how to install this new antenna? thanks a bunch.

You'll have to remove the inner fender panel on the right side, remove the top nut on the antenna mast and put the mast through the hole in the fender, there is a bracket for a 10mm bolt to mount it to the body, the hard part is getting the antenna lead over to the radio, remove the radio and disconnect the old cable and either cut it off or pull it out. There is an opening in the body for the lead to go in, remove the glove box and find where the cable comes through then route it over to the radio by whetever the easiest route is.
