Toyota Repair: ignition locked up, release pin, release button

Question
Hello,
I have a 1994 4-Runner and I can't get the ignition switch to turn at all. The steering lock is so tight that I can't get it to move very much at all. I've tried all the keys I have for the ignition with no luck. I read the post about installing a new ignition cylinder, but I can't get the key to turn to the ACC position. Is there a release button somewhere that I might use to free up the steering in case the ingnition is just in to much of a bind to let the key turn? What should I do? Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Whitney

Answer
There is only one release pin on the lock housing and it will have to be put into the acc position so it can be depressed, make sure the front wheels are not up against a curb, you should be able to move the steering wheel a little both ways, try moving the key while doing that to get it to the ACC position.
