Toyota Repair: 93 Camary 6 CYL, kerry kerry, oxygen sensor

Question
I have a 93 Camry  6cl. I love the car and just had the tranny rebuilt. recently the car started rough idling  while in gear after it warms up, I think my converter may be clogged while I was refueling the other day I undid the gas cap and very warm pressurized air and gas fumes started hissing out of the gas tank. Not the usual 2 second pressure release but a good 15-20 seconds of built up pressure and it was very warn bordering on hot. When the engine warms up it bogs and if I put it in drive 2 and torn off overdrive it seems to help some. any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated and where is this oxygen sensor you recommend disconnecting.
Thanks
Kerry

Answer
Kerry,
If you just had your transmission rebuilt you need to go back there
and tell them the issue, be persistent! They most likely bumped or forgot to hook up a sensor, etc. This happens all the time.
That is why I always need ask,  "what was done with the car recently."
