Sorry for not including all the necessary info.  its a 1999 4 Runner Limited 4x4, V6 with auto tranny.

I don't have your original question in front of me but anyway, the starter is connected with two 14mm bolts on the bellhousing side of the transmission, after the electrical connections are removed,don't forget to disconnect the battery, and the bolts are removed the starter can be pulled out through the bottom towards the rear, the power steering steel line may have to be bend a little and by turning the starter just right it will come out.
