Toyota Repair: 1994 Toyota Celica Air Conditiner, toyota celica, freon

Question
The air conditioner will operate fine for a few minutes then it will turn off and the on and off switch in the car would blink.  If I would turn of the air conditioner and on again it would continue to operate for few minutes then it will turn off again and the switch would blink again.  Any help please.

The system may be low on freon, if the pressure drops the light will start blinking, it should be checked by a qualified a/c technician that can connect pressure gauges to the system and interpret the pressure readings to see what the problem may be, there may be a leak in the system which needs to be located and repaired.
