Toyota Repair: 2002 Solara: Ignition cylinder or key problem?, toyota solara, lock cylinder

Question
I have a 2002 Toyota Solara whose keys have become progressively less reliable. I used to have to give the key a couple of tries before it would start the car, meaning that nothing would engage (electrical, engine, etc.). The key would simply not turn all the way. I replaced the very worn keys at  a dealership this weekend and while they work better than ever in the door, they won't turn the ignition at all. What do I need to do and about how much do you think this will cost? (Bear in mind, I can't drive the car to a repair shop because of this issue). Many Thanks!

Answer
It seems that the ignition lock cylinder is worn and needs to be replaced, if you can not get it to turn to get it started it would have to be towed to the dealer, depending on what it needs it will cost about $260-300 parts and labor, the lock may have to be drilled out if the key can't be moved at all.
