Toyota Repair: 93 camry, jumper wire, diagnostic check

Question
I have a 93 camry v6 It started running rough low idle about 400 to 500rpm. check engine light came on. so I figured Like you always say have it checked to see what code it reads. Well I parked it at my house and now it wont start to have it checked, I checked rotor rotation for timeing belt it is fine I check spark at plug its ok I can smell gas when I try to start it and the plugs are wet with gas. I guessed and replaced the 02 sensor (up) that did nothing. can you give me a idea what control might be out?

Answer
You can still get the trouble codes even if the engine doesn't run, open the hood and locate the diagnostic check connector it should be near the right front near the firewall, it has a cover on it and it's about 1"x2" open the cover, the terminals are designated inside the cover, locat the terminals TE1+E1 and make a small jumper wire and put it inbetween these two terminals, turn the ign key on then watch the check engine light, count the number of blinks, it will be a two digit code, for instance, a code of 25 would be two blinks/a short pause and then five blinks, if there are more than one code there is a longer pause between each code or if only one the same one will repeat itself, it's easy to read the codes backwards so make sure you wait for the long pause for the codes, let me know what you come up with.
