BMW Repair: e30 325i no spark or fuel, crank angle sensor, fuel pump

Hi there recently changed an engine on old 325i, now will not start has no fuel or spark, have tried all usual suspects incl crank sensor and relays, there is no earth to fuel pump relay and when i earth this the pump works and i get fuel up but still obviously no spark or inj pulse. thinking ecu earth off or something along those lines but everything that came off has gone back on please help!!!!!!! many thanks

 When you say "earth" I'm taking it that you mean "ground", correct?

   If you have checked the crank angle sensor and relays, then the only other option is a loose/bad ground, or bad ECU.  There's not much I can help with, as this will have to be sorted out by you.
