Toyota Repair: 99 Toyota Landcruiser PO 135, toyota landcruiser, fuse panel

Hi Ted,
I had our 99 LC diagnosed with a PO 135 Bank 1 Sensor 1 reading. My questions are the following; Where is this sensor located and how do I reset the Check Engine light (the guy who diagnosed it said it will automatically go off after about an hour's worth of driving)? Also do you have any tips on removing and reinstalling this? Thanks in advance.

Answer
The bank 1 sensor 1 is located in the left side of the engine(driver's side) in the exhaust manifold in front of the catalityc converter, it takes a special O2 sensor socket to remove it. The check engine light can be turned off by either disconnecting the negative battery terminal for about ten seconds or pulling the EFI fuse out. It's located under the hood in the fuse panel.
