Toyota Repair: Toyota Sienna, rear engine mount replacement, diy mechanic, toyota sienna

Question
I've a 2000 Sienna LE, automatic tran, and I need to replace the rear engine mount. Any advice? It looks as though I have to first pull out the drive axle that runs thru the casting that holds the engine mount. Is this something a basic DIY mechanic should even attempt? What parts of this procedure are likely to be hardest?

Answer
The engine and transmission have to be supported, we use a special tool for this at the dealer, the steeirng is disconnected at the coupling and the entire subframe has to be lowered about four inches to get the motor mount out, a little difficult to do at home without a lift to lift up the van.
