Toyota Repair: A/C, toyota sequoia, sequioas

Yes I own a Toyota Sequoia and started having problems with my A/C.  The problem is that I turned on the A/C and some how the vehicle started to tug and pull and the indicator light from the A/C switch was flashing and it was blowing hot air.  What could cause for this happen? and How can I repair this problem?

The Sequioas have had some problems with a/c compressor failures, the compressors seize and then the metal particles from the compressor are distributed throughout the system which requires replacing a lot of parts, I don't know what year and how many miles are on your sequoia, the warranty period on the a/c system is 3yrs/36,000 miles, toyota has also issued a service bulletin concerning this and I can send a copy of it to you, I will need an email address to mail it to you.
