Toyota Repair: Toyota check ehgine light, metal particles, toyota camry

Question
I have a 2000 Toyota Camry, 4 cyl. 2,4l engine. I recently got a trouble code PO 755. The code was shift selenoid B problem. My question is what exactly does this mean, and how can I repair it. Thanks.

Answer
In most cases the shift solenoid is not the problem, the transmission fluid may be contaminated and a small particle may be blocking the solenoid passage, I would recommend removing the transmission oil pan and then check for any evidence of metal particles or other material in the oil pan, it may help to just flush all the old oil out with a flush machine, if the fluid id real dark and smells burned or there are small metal particles in the oil pan it's a major transmission problem.
