Toyota Repair: 95 Toyota Tacoma V6 Check Engine Light, toyota tacoma, autozone

My 95 Toyota Tacoma has been running pretty good for the most part, but is
in need of a tune up.  I have been meaning to get it in and planned to next
week.  Today as I was driving down the road (under 30 mph) my check engine
light came on.  I pulled in my driveway and checked all of the fluids to make
sure nothing was low, nothing was, but the engine compartment seemed
warmer than normal for as little as I had driven.  Any idea what may have
caused this?  My truck has 167,000 miles on it.

No, I have no idea but I will have some information for you if you can have the engine light diagnosed and then tell me what the trouble codes are. Most of the autoparts chain stores will get the codes for you at no charge, try autozone,kragen etc., once I know the trouble codes I can help.
