Toyota Repair: 4Runner No Spark x 2, distributor cap, distributer

Question
1991 4x4 sr5, Well I replaced the coil, igniter, and the distributer and the
engine still won't spark.  Does this mean I need to tackle the computer which
may have been the problem all along?  Where do I locate and remove the
computer on this truck?  Is a salvage computer ok? Are there ANY other
possible things to check besides these?  And is there a way to test the
computer before I pay for yet ANOTHER part that may not fix my truck.  Could
I be missing something small?  It does have fuel and the pump is working, it's
just not sparking.  PLEASE HELP, thank you thank you thank you...

Answer
The computer is the least likely part to cause this, have you checked the timing belt, it's possible that it has broken, remove the distributor cap and check that the rotor turns when cranking the engine. This engine ran before, did it just stop running while driving or did it just not start after sitting for a while, have any other repairs been made other than the ones you mentioned?
