Toyota Repair: Cold Starting Problem, toyota camry, battery connections

Question
My 1999 Toyota Camry LE begun to have intermittent starting problems two days ago when I started it in the morning after it had parked in my garage for three rainy days. The engine turned over finally with three attempts and there was no problem in driving, but the alarm LED light kept flashing (only first time, now it is off while driving) and the stereo memory was lost. Same situation occurred again after  long hours parking. I suspect that the problem is related to
weak battery, but the battery is only one year old.

I will take the car to a mechanic for checkup, but would like to listen to your advice on possible causes of the problem.

Thanks a lot for your time!

Answer
Since the memory in the radio was lost there was a loss of supply voltage, check the battery connections first, they should be clean and tight on the posts, if so have the battery and the alternator tested, most batteries have warranties for at least three years.
