Toyota Repair: 1994 4 runner 3.0 misses during acceleration, fuel pressure gauge, head gaskets

Question
Thank You for helping me.
The car had developed a bad miss during acceleration. I have changed plugs (the old ones showed even wear with a light grey coating, no fouling) and wires, swapped coil and igniter. PCV valve in new. I have installed new filters including fuel filter.
The timing is set a 10*. Vacuum is 18 inches and steady at idle. It idles at 800 RPM and is smooth.
Compression is between 150 and 165 psi.
EGR system diaphram is working. When I apply vacuum to it the engine quits.
Head gaskets were changed 30000 miles ago, timing belt changed 40000 miles ago.
The car has 150000 miles.
I have between 9.5 and 10 ohms resistance on the injectors (the book says this should be between 13.4-14.2 ohms). Is this enough to cause a problem?
There are no check engine lights.
When I changed the fuel filter there was a very small amount of water. I am out of ideas and need some place else to look.
I did the work on the engine myself. I use a Hayes  Manuel to guide me. Don't know if that is good or bad but, I have been able to keep it running so far.
Thank you again for your help

Answer
Any sign of water in the fuel is a cause for concern because there is probably at lot more in the fuel tank since water is heavier it will tend to settle on the bottom where the fuel pump pickup is located, it's either that or the fuel pressure is not enough on acceleration, in any case it sounds like a fuel delivery problem, a fuel pressure gauge should be attached to see what the actual pressure is under acceleration, if the pressure is normal(about 35 psi) then I would consider getting all the fuel out of the tank along with any water that may be in there and refilling the tank with fresh fuel and maybe adding a conditioner designed to remove water.
