Toyota Repair: 2001 Chevy Prizm, fuel pressure gauge, 2001 chevy prizm

Question
After coming back from vacation when I had no problems with my vehicle. 2 days later, I went to start my car and the engine turned over but died a couple seconds later, and the car didnt idle. When I turned the key and didn't try to start the vehicle there was no clicking sound that the fuel pump usually makes. What should I check first and what are the possibilities of what could be wrong?

Answer
Locate the diagnostic connector under the hood and open the lid, place a jumper wire between the terminals FPandB+, doing this will bypass all the relays and activate the fuel pump directly,if the car starts there may be a fuel pump relay problem, if it doesn't start the fuel pump may be the problem, the only way to be sure is to connect a fuel pressure gauge.
