Toyota Repair: Toyota Avalon 95 wont start, air control valve, toyota avalon

Question
I have a problem to start my Avalon (120k miles) every morning these days. After it started the first time, it can start every time after in a day. The problem comes back the next day again. I found it helps by pushing the gas paddle to the floor when I turn the ignition key. Is this a starter problem or not? Thanks.

Answer
If the engine turns over but doesn't start up or tries to start but dies then it's not a starter problem but rather a fuel delivery problem, there are some known problems with the idle air control valve that cause a no start or start and die condition, I would recommend replacing the IAC valve, it is located on the throttle body.
