Toyota Repair: Stuck Ignition, release pin, lock cylinder

Question
I have a 98 Camry. the key ignition is stuck. When I stick the key in, it doesn't budge. But before that, it had went up to ACC. How do i fix this??

Answer
does the key work in all the door locks but not the ignition? If so, the lock cylinder for the ignition should be replaced, if it has difficulty working in the doors also have another key made at the toyota dealer using the vin#, if the lock cylinder needs to be replaced try to get the key back into the acc position then remove the cover around the lock, in the ACC osition the release pin on the lock can be pushed in to pull the cylinder out, the pin is located on the lock housing, it can be located by getting the new cylinder from the toyota dealer first,if it can not be put back into acc then it will require a locksmith to remove the cylinder or replacement of the entire lock aassembly.
