Volvo Repair: Follow up on lights staying on, check fuse, daytime running lights

I have owned this 93 240 since 1998 and this is the first time I have ever had the lights stay on. Also I have seen several kits to convert the 93 to daytime running lights. Could it have been an option that was not on my car. The problem I have with your answer is that I have have had the car for 8 years and this started yesterday.

Richard,  All the 93's have Daytime running lamps.  Its possible that when you bought it someone had taken the fuse out or something.  It maybe the relay acting up causing them to stay on.  Its definately an interesting occurance.  Do me a favor and check fuse number 1 and see if it says datyime running lamps, if not check all the fuses for now.  Get back to me and we can go further.  Roger
