Toyota Repair: 2002 Camry Idle Issue - Out of Nowhere, air intake hose, maintenance record

Question
I have a 2002 Camry with 75K miles.  Battery went dead a week ago.  Running fine up until then.  Appears that it was te original battery.  Tried to jump.  Wouldn't idle.  Replaced Battery.  Got home by keeping RPM's up and restarting the engine at the occasional intersection.  Computer is not resetting/relearning. . . . Driven it some 50 miles and it will not idle.  No Check Engine light either.  Car was a picture of perfect health and maintenance record up until now.  Could the ECM just have gone and died?

Answer
I would suggest cleaning the inside of the throttle body, remove the large air intake hose from the throttle body and clean the inside with throttle body cleaner and a small brush, clean all the carbon deposits, I think it will solve the problem. Why it happended after the battery replacement may be due to the computer adjusting to the small amounts of difference in airflow in the throttle body and when the battery was disconnected and a new battery put in it reset and then decided it didn't like all that gunk in there and refuses to idle. I have fixed quite a few idle problems by just cleaning the throttle body.
