Toyota Repair: 2001 Toyota Sequoia Engine Knock, toyota v8, toyota sequoia

My Sequioa is at 105k miles. I change the motor oil every 5,000 miles with a full synthetic at the dealer. Over the last 10k miles there is a lot more engine noise when accelerating and it appears that the engine is now knocking. Is this common with Toyota V8 engines? Is there anything I can do to make this situation better?

No, there are no common engine knocking problems, not sure what may be causing this without being able to hear the noise myself. It may be preignition, try changing to a different brand of fuel or to a higher octane fuel. Is the check engine light ON?
