Toyota Repair: 98 Toyota Camry Studerting, toyota camry, auto parts stores

I have a V6 98 Toyota Camry (US)  It started stuttering, and running funny.  The engine does not idle smooth and the check engine light came on 10-15 minutes after it started driving that way.  What can it be?  Spark Plugs?  Timing Belt?  I do have 86K miles in this engine. I don't know if to bring it to a Dealer or take care of the issue myself.  I'm just not sure hat could it be.

Ity's probably an engine misfire, a common problem on this model camry, one of the ignition coil packs may need to be replaced, the first step is to fine out what the trouble code is which requires a code reader attached to the cars diagnostic connector, a few auto parts stores will do this at no charge(autozone, kragen etc) I will need to know this trouble code in order to help more.
