-----Question-----
my 1987 toyota pickup want crank, engine is firing and getting gas. i cleaned the moter about 2 weeks ago with water and degreaser.havent touched it in 2 weeks and now it want crank
-----Answer-----
Does the engine not turn over at all when the key is turned to start or does it turn over and not start, it may be as simple as removing the distributor cap and removing any water that may be inside.          The moter turns over, ive cleaned the distributor and still does not crank

Answer
thanks for the additional info but I'm a little confused, if the motor turns over it means it cranks over, both terms mean the same thing, if it cranks over it is also turning over, so I will ask again, does the engine turn over when the key is in the start position or not? In other words does the engine turn when the key is in the start position or does it just make clicking noise and the engine doesn't move or turn over, please, this the one thing I need to be clear on.
