Toyota Repair: P0401 Code, vacuum leaks, vacuum leak

Question
I recently purchased a 2001 toyota camry with 55000 miles which runs fine.  The check engine light was on when I bought the car so I had the computer reset.  The check engine came back on a couple of days later but occasionally goes off for a day and then comes back on.   I hooked the car up to a scanner and it reported EGR flow insufficient.  The OBDII readiness status shows the evaporative status and catalyst status not complete, even though I have driven 2000 miles since the codes were reset.  Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Answer
You might want to check for vacuum leaks especially if it involves an EGR valve if you have a certain mechanic you are happy with take it to them if not take it to the toyota dealer one question did u buy this car off a lot or private seller? But most likely you have a vacuum leak somewhere
