Toyota Repair: 95 toyota camry LE (problem with gear lights), phillips screws, toyota camry

When I started the car and put it into gear none of the gear lights comes on instantly, except for Parking "P" and and Neautral "N".  Reverse "R" comes on after the car has been driven for some time and Drive "D" doesn't come on at all.  Could you please tell me what to do??

The bulbs can be replaced by removing the instrument cluster from the dash, look for two phillips screws on the inside of the faceplate on the top, remove them then remove the four screws holding the cluster in then pull it out and disconnect all the electrical connectors. The bulbs should be on the back in the circuit board, also look for any burned spots on the board, if there are or if replacing the bulbs doesn't help I would suggest trying to find a replacement cluster at a salvage yard or have it repaired at the dealer.
