Toyota Repair: 89 4runner will not start, denso plugs, auto stores

Question
1989 4runner will not start after it rains. Sometimes it takes days to get the vehicle to start. Afterwards it runs like a top.

Answer
Replace the distributor cap & rotor.
Replace the spark plug with NGK, or Denso plugs ONLY.
Check / replace the plug/coil wires. Only use NGK, Denso, or very high price aftermarket wires. (No, you won't get power out of them, but cheap shitty wires fm auto stores last months).
Don't crank the starter more than afew seconds at a time. You'll burn it out, or knock all your teeth off the flywheel's ring gear. Then you're shit up a creek.

And flush the coolant every other year, replace the thermostat & pressure caps ever other flush (4th year).
