Toyota Repair: 95 4 runner, abs light, diagnostic port

the anti lock brake light comes on,after it sit awhile it's off,but comes back on.had new brakes put on the front and checked the rear ones.

Has nothing to do with the brakes.

The BRAKE light tells you when brake fluid is low, the ABS light tells you when the ABS computer sees a fault - deactivates ABS & stores the code.

Connect Tc & E1 in a DIAGNOSTIC port. Turn the key to ON, the ABS light should flash the codes.
We'll take the codes & tell you what's wrong. Normally it's a relatively minor electrical wiring fault.
