Can a 99 Avalon air bag module be reset?

The trouble codes stored in the SRS computer can be cleared but it won't solve the problem unless the cause that made the warning light come on is repaired, if the air bag light came on there may be trouble codes stored in the computer which can be retreived with a diagnostic scantool and also can be cleared with the same tool but again, clearing the codes may not solve the cause of the problem, there is a malfunction in the system.
