Toyota Repair: 94 toyota celica GT, toyota celica, trouble code

Question
I have a 94 celica GT 2.2L. 123,000 miles. I was driving down the highway and the car shutoff on me and would not start back up. Check the distributor for spark and was not getting any. I had the distributor replace but then was told I was not getting any compresion in the engine. Not sure how that happened. The car never overheated on me. It sat for approx. 8-9 months. I took it to another place and was advised I had to get a valve and the head repaired. Did this and had the oil pump and timing belt replaced. Drove the car for about 700 miles and now my check engine light turned on. At start the light is off but when the temperature get to about less than 1/4 of the way the check engine light turns on. Temperature stays fine and the car runs normal. Do you have any idea of what is causing it? Any recomendations?

Answer
Anytime the check engine light comes on I will need to know the diagnostic trouble code stored in the computer, this requires the computer to be connected via a diagnostic tool to read the codes, once the codes are known you can get back to me for additional information.
