DO YOU KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO RESET MOTOR IN SUNROOF AFTER REPLACING SUNROOF.CANNOT GET WINDOW TO TILT AT ALL AND CAN ONLY GET AUTO FEATURE AFTER IT OPENS 4 INCHES OR SO AND WILL NOT AUTO CLOSE

GO TO A TOYOTA DEALER & GET THEM TO REPAIR IT.

It's a well known problem. Quit playing with the sunroof after it's replaced, or you'll have to keep going to the dealer!


To fix it, the entire sunroof must be pulled out, all the guts to the system, including the motor, pulleys and cables. The problem is the pulleys & cables binding.


The replacements normally add up to around $2,000usd.
