Toyota Repair: Sienna Seat Belt Light Lit Even when belt on, explination, warning light

Question
My 2000 Sienna driver's seat belt light continues to blink even though I have the belt fastened properly. I can pull the belt further out and it stops blinking. This problem is intermittent but is getting more frequent. Where is the sensor that I need to clean or adjust? What do I need to remove or disassemble, to get to it?

Answer
Normally I find that a sticky drink has gummed up/damaged the sensor, or it's been beaten up. The switch itself is in the little buckle. I guess you could replace it, but I always just install a new buckle.

From there just make sure that the warning light & it's wiring harness & grounding points are OK. I see that happen about as often as the switch dies. Can't give you an explination unless somebody like, kicks under the dash, or maybe "little ones" like 2 sneak a sit in the driver's seat.
