Toyota Repair: alarm going off randomly, toyota solara, battery cables

Question
I have a 2000 toyota Solara hard top with the factory alarm. Yesterday I was going to my car and hit the open button for the door on my key fob(like always) and the alarm went off. I thought I hit the panic button by mistake but, I didn't. I tried to cut it off by opening the door with a key, by starting the car, and by using the key fob to turn it off. Pressing the panic button while it is going off doesn't phase it.I have disconnected both battery cables (trying to reset it) I changed the batteries in my key fob and it hasn't worked. Every time I start the car, open the trunk, or open the  door it goes off. I disconnected the horn (removed the 10amp fuse)..now the headlights and tail lights just blink. I don't want to take it to the dealer to have them keep it all day and charge me an arm and a leg in labor. I am in nursing school and have two kids, and can't afford it right now. If you could please help me in any way I would be so appreciative. If you have any questions please contact me at 423-483-4895.

Answer
I'm sorry... But take it to a dealer.

Otherwise, you should download a factory repair manual for a major Camry platform car (Camry/ES/Solara) from a website based on that platform, or techinfo.toyota.com

Start tracing the entire alarm system & it's triggers. I've not seen a remote / alarm recieving fail, but there can always be a first too so...

Me call you? LoL! That's sorta funny. :-) You can email me all u want.

Sorry I can't help you more than that.
