Toyota Repair: 1997 Toyota Camry, toyota camry, oxygen sensor

Question
I have a 1997 Toyota Camry, I recently had a tune-up, the fuel filter replaced and the ignition wires replaced.  However, just recently my car is having trouble starting up.
An Ex.  I would drive for about an hour and go into a store for about 5min and when I return the car will not start, it seems as if it is not getting the gas to start the car, I have to wait until it cools down just a little bit before I can actually start the car again, this doesn't happen just once or twice, it is becoming random.  Do you have any suggestions as to what it might be.  I have taken it to a toyota dealer and they cannot pinpoint the problem, and they say that everything has passed the test and is working properly.  However my engine light came on one day and it was a P0171 code, something about fuel too lean by cyclinder one.  Could you please tell me what it could cause this too happen.

Answer
Check the fuel pressure when running warmed up, and then check it again 5 minutes after the engine has been shut off. It should maintain 25psi at the fuel rail. If not the fuel pump is going out.

P0171 means cylinder bank 1 is running lean. If you have an i4, it means the whole engine. If you have a v6, it means the bank of cylinders nearest the firewall.

I would suspect that the fuel pump is the problem but tst it first. That would explain the lean bank code. On-top of any problem you may have, if you solve the warm-start problem. The bank-1 oxygen sensor could be malfunctioning and need replacing aside from your warm-start problem.
