Toyota Repair: heating, heater control valve, celica gt

I have a 1987 celica gt and i cant get no heat through the vents will blow cold air but no heat new heatercore thermastat i dont know what else could be

Check the heater control valve and be sure the cable is connected, check under the dash on the left and right side of the air ducting and check that all control cables are attached it sounds like a control cable has been disconnected at the control lever, make sure that the blend door above the heater motor opens and closes when the control is moved from cold to hot, it may be necessary to remove the glove box to verify this.
