Toyota Repair: 1997 Corolla- Headlights flash 3 times after turning car off!, toyota corolla, car alarms

I have a 1997 Toyota Corolla, and I just got some brake work done. When I shut off the ignition, sometimes (1/4 of the time?) the headlights flash on and off three times, accompanied by beeping! This must be some sort of trouble indicator, I assume? Do you know what's up?

No it's not a trouble indicator it has to do with an alarm system that is installed on the car, it is probably an aftermarket system and the best advice I can give at this time is to have the system removed and restored to original or have a shop that specializes in car alarms take a look at it.
