Cadillac Repair: 1990 cpe deville ?s, msd blaster, stock coil

Hi Ben,
Just bought car for my son and have a couple of questions.
1) heat does not blow out of dashboard vents - blows hot from both windshield vents and floor vents and front defrost buttom works fine, but nothing from dash vents. any easy fix?

2) the front seat backs do not lock into place. to get into back seat you can just push them forward and get in. Doesn't seem that the car would have been made that way and there are what appears to be seat release levers on the backs of the seats for back seat passengers. again, easy fix?
any other common concerns on this model I should be aware of?

1. The a/c programmer is probably not aligned correctly, this is not an easy fix you must take out the entire front dash.
2. I think thats the way they designed it, but not 100%
3. Make sure yoour coolant doesnt foul up, as soon as it does replace it immidiately and the engine will run beautiful. A tune up wouldnt hurt and a MSD blaster coil to replace the stock coil will allow the engine to run on 87 octane if youd like.
