Toyota Repair: Bad oil leak, valve cover gasket, pan gasket

Question
I owned a Toyota Camry '95, 4 cylinders with 165k miles. I took it for service because the engine light was on. The mechanic told me that the valve cover was leaking. Before he replaced the gasket, the car used to smell like burning and it stopped. After 2 or 3 weeks, the car started leaking I brought it back and his brother told me that it was the oil pump gasket. I took it somewhere else and they changed the timing belt, crank , cam and oil pump seal. The car continue leaking badly. So, I brought it back to the second place and they told it was the valve cover gasket and the distribution o-ring. They replaced the distribution o-ring, but as usual, the car is still leaking. The car leaves two or three spots of oil where ever I parked, but one is big. I am feeling frustration because I feel like I'm burning my money. Is there any suggestion you could give me?

Answer
Are you sure it's oil and not ATF (from the transmissions, differential, or powersteering).

Find the leak. AFA the engine:
Cam gaskets, distributor gasket, valve cover gasket, crankshaft gaskets (front & rear main oil seals), oil filter, oil pressure sensor, oil pan gasket, oil pan drain bolt.
