Toyota Repair: 90 Toyota Camry heater, valve cover gasket, coolant system

Question
Hi - I recently had some work done on my 1990 camry and after I got it back,
the heater/defrost is making a weird sound, like it 's really struggling to run.
The work that I had done was replacing the radiator, engine valve cover
gasket, and some belts tightened. Can this heater noise be related to any of
the repair work that I had done? It wasn't making any noises untiil after the
repairs, so I'm wondering if something didn't get reconnected, etc. Do you
have any suggestions?

Answer
Without being there to hear the noise I can't say for certain.

I would expect that if it is related the coolant system was not flushed correctly, causing air to be trapped in the system. Which is making a "gurgling" noise in the heater core in your center console.

Purge the cooling system of air & see if it is better.
